Rockwood JORC Resource totals 337.3Mt, 44.5 Indicated and 292.8 Inferred

Confirmed Rockwood anthracite coal fits within the range other PCI coals successfully traded in the international market, with a high rank, high carbon coal with a low volatile content.

Endocoal is to determine the best likely 'end-user' destinations for Rockwood coal and evaluate the Rockwood PCI product export market opportunities; being the best fit with operating plants and coal requirments; and value of Rockwood PCI coal in the international market.

Drilling at Rockwood will focus on: 
> Expanding the Rockwood exploration footprint to the south-east along already identified coal-bearing anticline structures; and 
> Infilling in the initial discovery area to assist in identifying potential mine site locations.

Orion Downs Overview

Orion Downs has two potential mining operations - Inderi and Meteor Downs South.

Confirmed JORC Resource of 51.4Mt of export quality, direct shipment thermal coal; 
31.8Mt is Measured category, 11.6Mt Indicated and remaining 8.0Mt is inferred.
Endocoal is moving from Explorer to Developer stage with:

  • Submission of a Mining Lease Application (MLA) for the first open cut project Meteor Downs South (MDS)
  • Commencement of a Bankable FeasibilityStudy (BFS) for MDS
  • Environmental Management Plan (EMP) process underway to support granting of mining Lease in 2H 2012
  • Participating in the Port expansion process at all three of the Northern Ports
  • Improvement in the likelihood of gaining port access at Gladestone

INDERI & METEOR DOWNS STH

  • Rangal Coal Measures, as mined at Xstrata’s nearby Rolleston open-cut coal mine; and
  • Direct-ship, export-quality thermal coal.

Southern Bowen Basin

Cedars & Barfield

  • Comprise two adjacent tenements, which cover areas of approximately 1,020km2 and 564km2 respectively.
  • located west of the town of Biloela in the Banana Shire, Queensland, and are immediately east of the Dawson Mine Complex operated by Anglo Coal Australia in the Southern Bowen Basin.

Rockwood

  • Located in Central Bowen Basin;
  • Near well-established coking coal mines and deposits;
  • Mini SOSIE seismic and ground gravity surveys undertaken to determine structure and seam stratigraphy;
  • 2H 2010 drilling program:
    • Focused on northwestern section of tenement; Confirmed presence of low-volatile PCI coal;
    • Up to 21.3m of cumulative coal seam thickness from 33m depth;
    • Diamond drilling has identified potentially low volatile PCI product
